Enarau Conservation Limited Company

Enarau Conservation Limited Company serves as the operational and commercial engine of our conservation mission. By working in tandem with the Enarau Conservation Trust, we ensure the sustainable management of our resources and the financial viability of our conservation efforts.

Governance & Operations

The Limited Company enables us to manage business activities that directly support our ecological and social goals. Our primary revenue streams include:

Tree Nursery

With a capacity of 30,000 seedlings, our nursery propagates indigenous tree species. These are sold to the local community, tourism operators, and conservation partners, generating revenue for the conservancy while providing vital stock for our own land restoration projects.

Research Accommodation

We provide purpose-built accommodation for long-term researchers. By hosting scientists and students, we not only generate essential income for conservancy operations but also foster a vibrant knowledge-exchange hub in the Mara. Maasai Cultural Village (Manyatta) In collaboration with our local community, we operate a traditional cultural village. This platform offers authentic Maasai cultural experiences—including dance, beadwork, fire-lighting, and traditional culinary arts—ensuring direct economic benefits for both the community and the conservancy.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

We are dedicated to minimizing our ecological footprint in every facet of our operations. We are actively investing in environmentally sensitive infrastructure, such as solar-powered research and office facilities. These improvements not only reduce our environmental impact but also enhance our capacity to host international researchers, volunteers, and partners who are instrumental in driving our mission forward.
