Data Analysis
We place a great deal of emphasis on our scientific approach to conservation, and are keen to share as much as we can by way of data and our analysis of that data.
Percentages of native and invasive herbaceous plant species of Enarau’s farmland
A baseline study was conducted on the vegetation in the abandoned farmland, which spans 336 acres and was used for intensive agriculture for more than 30 years. The collection of baseline data has yielded significant insights into the native and invasive species found at Enarau’s ex-arable land. A total of 43 herbaceous plant species were identified, out of which 23 (53%) were native and 20 (47%) were invasive.
